Shall I call the 4 of them, 4 kings, 4 intelligent, 4 traitors or 4 stooges. 😅😅😅😅😅.
Who is james chin? A western propagandist! No credibility to comment on Malaysia geopolitic.
How to push someone closer? I thought u need to pull..the wording confuse me😅
China is only interested in trades and more trades. The US is only interested in wars and more wars. It's a no brainer which nation to be friend.
No shit. Isn't that what all superpower wants?
China works with everyone, not just Malaysia!
Anwar already said he has no problems with China consistently encroaching into Malaysia waters, and Malaysia is a major semiconductor player in the world. Isn't it obvious why China wants to buddy buddy with Malaysia?
Recently US threatened sanctions any countries deal with Russia and China offer trade.
Actually they are looking pretty dumb with their exploding turbo 6 engine problems.
Малайзия маленькая страна, большое мужество
another one pretending to know it all . ECRL is already 50 % or more done . done deal and not an agenda .
"Push, or pull" would depend on which side of the fence you are on. Western nations such as the bully-boy USA, would like us to believe that it is a "push", that China pushes Malaysia, into China's influence. I have a problem with that. (1). It suggests that Malaysia is dumb, that it cannot make its own decision who to make friends with, and (2). Malaysia is powerless and weak that it allows China to push it around. I suppose USA is used to doing the "push" thing. It pushed democracy into the Middle East, and went away with a bloodied nose, and wasted much money and time for nothing. It is clear that China wants to be the dominant party, but does it with a very different route...economy and persuasion. That is in stark contrast to the US. That is why we have wars in Gaza and Ukraine.
👍Vietnam even better , playing 3 sides.😅 U$ China Russia. Malaysia should learn.😁
Muslim people should never forget what they did to Palestinians and iraq
China don't stop Malaysia extracting oil near Sarawak coast, which in their claim so call 9 dash line. People just don't know that Malaysia and China coast guard having meal meeting together in the sea , together against PH pirate .

"Fascistas"
Malaysians are ethnic Chinese. They will not side against their own people for the benefit of white foreigners that has a evil history of colonialism
Does Malaysia really need pushing? It's the West which is pushing Malaysia away.😆
Malaysia is not a pro west country. Its a neutral country. Malaysia is in the middle of high speed rail that connects to Thailand and to china.
Because all ASEAN knew the sun has set in the west. Only PH BongBong still with the empire due to family asset are onhold by the empire.
I don't know I'm kind of conflicted .... Chinese companies open business in Malaysia and insist on Mandarin speaking as requirement when advertising for local jobs opening... not all but many do this. That has made some local Malaysian chinese companies to be bolder too and advertise Mandarin speaking as a job requirement too .... the irony is that they are doing business in Malaysia where majority do not speak Mandarin. Right or wrong I don't know, but in the long term definitely non chinese Malaysian will feel disgruntled if it becomes harder and harder to find jobs due to the language requirement.
Only the US will think that way, Premier Anwar stated clearly that it is a matter of sovereignty, they want no part in any ideological camp, besides geographically how far is the US and how far is China? So where is that pushing coming from? 以小人之心 度君子之腹嗎?
European Quislings hiding in plain sight. Many in the European Union serve the same foreign and corporate interests as Ursula Von Der Leyen. Ursula Von Der Leyen is a member of the board of Trustees of the World Economic Forum of which Putin was once a WEF young global leader under Klaus Schwab.

Neighbours strengthening regional ties? Shock horror!
Why the title reports this way? The one who wrote it knows nothing?!
Malaysia first asean country to establish diplomatic rlshp with china, first asean country to join BRICS.
No country wants to befriend the United States, except the white countries and semi-white Japan. The US never engages diplomacy, it only bombs.

RIP G7.
Better go to sleep
let’s get some Asians to make it sound more credible that they know what they’re talking about. Great marketing strategy
Why this panel become so busy body, China never colonized Malaysia. These hypocrite Western countries have colonized Malaysia, from Portuguese, Holland and British are worst human rights violator, looting, cheat and lying. Using the slim excuse to colonize Malaysia. Malaysia don't need China to push, we have 2000 years of good relationship, culture and intermarriages in Malacca. These Western countries are real big bullies.
“Vox populi, Vox Dei” sort of stupid thing as if the people knew what they were doing and what they really want? Emotion shouldn’t have space in such instances yet the people voice is mostly driven by emotion not pragmatism.
Total BS. China is not pushing anyone. China dont force any country to take side unlike US. That's fine for China if any country stay neutral. Why should the US dictate other country bilateral relation with a third party. Why should US be upset if Vladimir Putin is welcomed in Vietnam.
G7 & their currencies aka WHOITE peoples club is not an economic bloc but actually "thieves" & nato war funder banks......😡....only PRIVIET NIHAO Salam from ASEAN🤘
Here's fun fact Malaysia PM which is bias toward the west tell Australians to stop talking China this China that in asean forum... People sick of the west badmouthing China while the western country sent weapons to aid genocide.
Mr Chin is disingenuous as he often is. He forgot, SE Asia - China trade is the biggest in the world. As for South China Sea, it is only between Bongbong (less the Philippines) and Vietnam but US could loom larger than even Vietnam in keeping things hot there.
Mr Chin look at things from Aussie perspective?
All think tank are "fund" by someone. This mean they "work" for someone.
China already harvest all the oil and gas in SCS , smart
Malaysia has always with China for more than 600 years, dating back to the Malacca Sultanate (1400-1511) when the Malacca Sultans had friendly relations with the Ming Emperors. This was to the extent that one of the Ming Emperors sent his daughter, Hang Li Po, to marry Sultan Mansur Shah of the Malacca Sultanate. However, the Malacca Sultanate fell to Imperialist Western invaders and colonialists, first the Portuguese, then the Dutch, and the British. So, if history has anything to teach Malaysians, it is to be careful of Western countries for their avarice! China has never conquered and colonised Malacca or even Malaysia like the Westerners did.
Pull or push? Do you usually “push” someone closer to you?
Former PM of Malaysia , Mahathir Mohamad told WSJ in Sept , 2018 , " We have traded with China for nearly two thousand years . China never conquered us. We have relations with Europe. The Portuguese came to Malaysia in 1509. Two years later, they came and conquered us. So I always feel that I’m safer with China than with Western countries " . Current Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim told reporters in Australia 3 months ago -- If Western countries have problems with China "they should not impose it upon us", we do not have a problem with China .
US has never conquered Malaysia too. Neither has Belgium, Spain, Belgium, Australia, Canada. Mahathir talked nonsense and you actually followed his nonsense.
Malaysia will remain neutral. US still the biggest investor in the country, followed by Japan, then China.
The title is so messed up protraying MY to have the CLOSEST relationship in every aspect such as military allies and MY acting as the servant to China as a servant. Rubbish! Basically what you are saying China wants more economic corporation with MY which us already very close. This is news? We have been neutral and have good relationship with all sides for decades, China does not have an issue with our dilpomatic policy. China is nearer to us compared to the US and EU, isnt it natural for us to have more economic trade/cooperstion with China? The only reason i see this is news because our PM made the wrong statement condemning US pressure. He could have made a neutral statement and be done with it instead of being attacked by western media now. 😂
It's called "pull closer", CNBC your England very powderful. You got Chinese Nationals using Google Translate as your content provider?
